At Ashley Furniture Industries, environmental stewardship begins at home. Ashley Companies continually seeks to recycle, reuse, and replenish every day.

Most Ashley products are made of engineered wood, which is 100% recycled wood. By using engineered wood, Ashley Companies is able to utilize an extra 32 percent of every tree.

Ashley does its part to aid in habitat reservation. Ashley's trucks auxiliary power units burn 1/10 gallon of diesel fluid per hour when idling, compared to regular engines that burn 1 gallon per hour at idol.

Ashley does their part to make great furniture and preserve our environment. Ashley Furniture recycles 157 tons of sheet metal, 7000 pounds of computer equipment, 65,000 tons of wood by-products, 60 tons of office paper, 24 trailers of plastic film, and 13,000 wooden pallets.
